The Fall of the House of Usher: Why is Tamerlane suspicious of Verna?

Tamerlane, a character in "The Fall of the House of Usher," suspects something about Verna, a mysterious woman who has appeared in various characters' plots. Tamerlane catches a glimpse of Verna in one of her husband's fitness live streams and becomes suspicious of her. Additionally, Roderick and Madeline, the Usher siblings, are reintroduced to Verna when they receive an image of her from Arthur Pym, showing her in the laboratory's front desk on the night that Camille was killed. This raises concerns for Roderick and Madeline, and Madeline attempts to revisit the bar where they first met Verna, only to find it closed and a raven ominously present.Meanwhile, Leo, one of the Usher siblings, experiences a downward spiral after murdering his boyfriend's cat, Pluto. Leo visits a pet shelter run by Verna and adopts a new cat identical to Pluto. However, this new cat behaves differently, scratching Leo and leaving dead animals around the house. Leo becomes increasingly paranoid and attempts to get rid of the cat, but it continues to haunt him. Eventually, Leo falls to his death while chasing the cat on his balcony.Throughout these events, Tamerlane starts to suspect something about Verna and her involvement with Leo's demise. The strange occurrences surrounding Verna and her presence in Leo's life make Tamerlane question her role in Leo's descent into madness and eventual death. As the Usher family continues to unravel the mysteries surrounding their lives, Tamerlane's suspicions about Verna and her true nature intensify.
