The Fall of the House of Usher: Why does Camille think Victorine is an informant?

In the latest episode of The Fall of the House of Usher, titled "The Murders in the Rue Morgue," Camille is on a mission to uncover the identity of the informant hiding within the family. While other members of the Usher family suspect Prospero or Roderick's wife, Juno, Camille has her sights set on Victorine.Camille's suspicions lead her to investigate the animal trials being conducted at RUE Morgue, where Victorine works with chimps. With the help of her assistants Toby and Tina, Camille discovers a discrepancy in the number of chimps entering and leaving the building. It becomes apparent that Victorine has been falsifying test results and disposing of dead monkeys while stitching up living ones to make it seem like her heart mesh experiment is successful.Ecstatic to have found incriminating evidence against her sister, Camille is interrupted by her assistants revealing that they are now in a romantic relationship and will no longer be able to help her. Frustrated, Camille fires them both, leaving her to face the Victorine investigation alone.Undeterred, Camille heads to Victorine's lab, where she encounters Verna disguised as a security guard. Verna warns Camille not to go in but, much like Prospero before her, Camille ignores the warning. Inside the lab, she discovers the stitched-up chimps but is interrupted by Verna, who starts a one-sided conversation about animal testing. Suddenly, Verna jumps on the surgery table and reveals her own stitched-up chest. Shocked, Camille takes a picture, triggering a transformation in Verna, turning her into an enraged ape that attacks Camille. The next morning, the lab is covered in blood, and Camille's mangled body lies in the corner.Meanwhile, in the past, the episode also provides insights into Roderick's ascent within Fortunato Pharmaceuticals. After discovering that the company has acquired Ligodone without involving him, Roderick confronts Mr. Griswold but is bought off with a promotion and the promise of money for his own business ideas. Madeline understands this promotion as an opportunity for Roderick to get closer to Mr. Griswold and eventually destroy him. The future remains uncertain, but with each episode, we get closer to understanding the events that led to the Usher family's downfall. As for the identity of the informant, it seems that Camille's suspicions were focused on the wrong person. While Victorine's actions have been deceitful, she may not be the one sharing information with the authorities. The true identity of the informant remains a mystery, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next episode to see how this tantalizing drama unfolds.
