The Fall of the House of Usher: How did Roderick and Madeline Usher connect to Fortunato Pharmaceuticals?

Roderick and Madeline Usher, the main characters of The Fall of the House of Usher, are connected to Fortunato Pharmaceuticals in several ways. The first connection is through their mother, Eliza, who worked as a secretary for the pharmaceutical company's owner, Mr. Longfellow. It is implied that there may have been a consensual affair or some form of sexual misconduct between Eliza and Mr. Longfellow, as Roderick and Madeline are revealed to be his children.When Eliza falls ill, Roderick and Madeline turn to Mr. Longfellow for help.
